About Dr. Estrada's Services

Dr. Estrada specializes in comprehensive, strengths-based psychological evaluations. She takes a holistic approach in understanding each person’s individual strengths, the barriers they face, and how these impact various aspects of their lives. She is particularly dedicated to ensuring that the evaluation process is affirming of each person's distinct characteristics, and she recognizes the importance of celebrating uniqueness in a world largely influenced by neurotypical norms.

With advanced training and extensive experience in assessing clients across the lifespan, Dr. Estrada's expertise extends to identifying neurodivergence in “high masking” individuals, including those who may be often overlooked by traditional diagnostic tools. This often includes females/those AFAB as well as older kids, teens, and adults. Specifically, she specializes in identifying:

  • Autism

  • ADHD

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Learning differences, such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia

  • Sensory differences

  • Asynchronous development patterns, including those with “spiky” profiles

  • Anxiety, OCD, and depression

Dr. Estrada firmly believes that evaluation recommendations should be rooted in an individual's specific needs rather than solely based on a diagnosis or neurotype. For this reason, every client who completes a Comprehensive Psychological Evaluation receives a customized action plan, empowering families with clear post-evaluation guidance, including referrals to trusted service providers.

Dr. Estrada recognizes that evaluations often serve as a person’s first experience in the mental health field, and her mission is to create a positive experience that not only aids in each person better understanding how they process, but also equips them with a clear roadmap for their next steps.

About Dr. Estrada

Dr. Estrada graduated from Seattle Pacific University with her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and completed her APA-accredited internship at the University of New Mexico. For the past ten years, she has focused her training on better understanding the full spectrum of neurodevelopmental differences. As opposed to pathologizing these differences, she uses a neurodiversity-affirming lens and views these differences as natural variations in human neurology.
